SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance stage designed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this sassa status reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
